Naval vessels and marine based vessels require lumenaires with construction that can withstand shock, vibration, watertight, EMI, Harmonics and other harsh environmental conditions. In order for the lumenaire to operate under these conditions it must be designed to withstand these harsh environments.

are a full ¼” of hardened acrylic to prevent cracks or shattering during harsh environmental conditionsIn addition, The Illuminator® series can withstand various water based conditions as well. The lumenaires can be exposed to water and or wet locations while providing a full 50,000 to 75,000 hours of lighting operation before replacement. Light-Pods's enclosed and gasket sealed LED luminaires have been tested through a multitude of military based hazardous environmental conditions to offer military and marine vessel customers the security and long life needed for these critical applications.
