image

The Illuminator™ Series fixture has passed the military
spike test requirements. This test is to evaluate the performance of the Light-Pod fixture under a series of voltage spikes defined and specified in MIL-STD-1399.

This test is to evaluate the performance of the Light-Pod fixture under a series of voltage spikes defined and  specified in MIL-STD-1399. Spike testing is a series of power tests that are conducted to the Light-pod fixture in order to document the performance of the fixture during a wide range of voltage spikes and harsh power conditions.

These tests are designed to enable the fixture to operate in a hazardous power supply environment. The scope of

the test procedure is to assure the Compliance of the Light-Pod Light Fixture to the applicable requirements of MIL-STD-1399.  In order to pass this test, the Light-Pod fixture will be monitored during the test and the fixture will not exhibit any malfunction, degradation of performance, or deviation from specified indications beyond the tolerances indicated in the individual equipment or subsystem specification when subjected to MIL-STD-1399.
